Slick was retired from competition in 2001 at the age of 8 after earning his 4th NSTRA Championship. Slick continues to hunt and has become a Mearn’s machine. He was featured in our “Bird Dogs Forever’ TV show for Outdoor Life Network. He has produced excellent pups including numerous NSTRA Champions as well as AKC and American Field Champions. He is the sire of our wonderful Champion, Teton’s Saragosa Sly. We have collected and frozen semen from Slick.
