To enhance the fine qualities of our female Teton’s DCR Diamond Lil we chose a stud dog who was bred similarly to her sire, Buster. The decision was made while at the GSPCA Nationals in Eureka and wouldn’t you know our choice, Tonelli’s Sky High (Sky) went out and won the National Gun Dog Championship while we were on our way home.  We call him Lou, in respectful honor of Lou Tonelli, Sky’s owner at the time. He is a double grandson of Tonelli’s Rising Sun, (Sonny) Lou has all the qualities to do well on the national level and we already are seeing results. Lou was the Runner-up Champion at the 2015 NGSPA Region 12  Amateur Shooting Dog Championship held in Sonoita, AZ. He finished as an AKC Field Champion in November of 2015 at the Northern Arizona GSP Club trial. He has a superior nose, rock solid style and is a natural backer and retriever.  Good things are on the way.
