Sly has proven to be an excellent  example of Greif bred dogs. He hunts hard and like his grandsire, Bullet and his sire, Slick, he has lots of point bred into him. He hits his birds hard, and stands them willingly with classical style. He is a natural retriever, a natural backer and has a very nice disposition.  He is extremely smart and retains training almost at once. He quickly won derby stakes in both AKC and AM Field competition and  accumulated almost all of his AKC broke dogs points in his first season on the field trial circuit. Sly earned his American Field Championship on December 11, 2005 by winning the AFTCA Region 12 Walking Shooting Dog Championship.  He finished as an AKC Field Champion on April 9, 2006 and his AKC Amateur Field Championship April 20, 2007 after overcoming a compound fracture of his left rear femur.      Chelsea is  out of FC/NFC Rincon's Slick Willy and FC HK's Rainbow Runner. She is a full brother and litter mate of NFC/FC HK's Rockin Rocky, who won the 2005 National Gun Dog Championship at Marsing, Idaho. Chelsea Pedigree
